Kindergarten students will develop essential knowledge and skills as they engage in multiple experiences in science. As students investigate earth, life, and physical science, they will have opportunities to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving strategies.
Students will :
1. Observe and compare characteristics of living and non-living things.
2. Observe and classify objects based on physical properties.
3. Observe and record various cycles in the environment.
Topics covered include trees, wood and paper, day and night, seasons, weather, ocean life, and butterflies.
